Experiences of being taught (positive and negative)
Positive:
- My teachers were inspirational.
- My teachers had a good sense of humor.
- My teachers were supportive and did not discriminate among students.
Negative:
- No technological means were used in teaching and lessons were monotonous and boring sometimes.
- Some teachers regarded students in the classroom as a whole and not each student as an individual person with different needs.
Aspects of teaching I am most looking forward to
I am really looking forward to creating original activities that can make my lesson more interesting and my students more excited about learning English.
Aspects of teaching I am least looking forward to
Having students with learning difficulties that require specific strategies in teaching.
What I expect most from my teacher education
I expect to understand how a proper lesson is conducted. I will be instructed on how to prepare and teach my own classroom.
What I want most from my teacher education
I want to be involved into the process of teaching and encounter both interesting and difficult cases of English learners. I would like to have a positive influence on my students after being their teacher.
What I think my teacher educators expect from me
They expect from me to be both fresh and full of confidence. They would like to cooperate with a punctual person that has also got good organizational skills and can deal with a large group of students.
